The Congress programme is directed to diverse participants, who are not addressed “with one voice”, however, but incited to take part with a number of different mediation formats. A variety of formats such as performances, lectures, lecture demonstrations and dialogues give impulses from an artistic and/or scientific point of view. Publicly held expert discussions can be followed in salons. Labs invite participants to contribute their own expertise and jointly work on specific topics. Different methods or techniques can be tested in workshops.

The congress languages are English and/or German. Events which will take place in German and will not be simultaneously translated into English are marked accordingly.

The tanzhaus nrw, the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus and the Forum Freies Theater are accompanying the Congress and supplementing its themes with an exclusive dance programme which ranges from ballett and contemporary dance to interactive performances.
